To commemorate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar on Tuesday launched phase II of the awareness campaigns on HIV / AIDS and Tuberculosis (TB) edited by Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Expressing her joy at the launch of this event, Ms. Pawar said, “The new India @ 75 has provided a platform for states to engage students, adolescents, youth and other stakeholders to take action. together in the national interest. “

“After the launch of Phase I, I am happy to note that weeklong activities such as painting, impromptu debate and mask making related to HIV / AIDS and TB awareness and blood donation have taken place. were organized in 25 schools and 25 colleges in each state, “she added in the statement, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

She further congratulated the National Organization for the Fight against AIDS (NACO) for the successful launch of the ” Phase 1 awareness campaigns on HIV, tuberculosis and the promotion of blood donation ” on August 12, on the occasion of International Youth Day.

The Minister also released an electronic booklet developed by NACO to showcase the variety of outreach activities carried out under Phase 1 and will serve as a guide to connect more students from across the country to participate in the upcoming activities.

Ms. Pawar also interacted virtually with students across the country and said, “I strongly believe that ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayaas’ are important in making our country a great nation.
