HÀ NỘI – State budget collection in 2022 is expected to reach more than VN 1.41 billion ($ 61.7 billion), according to a report on state budget estimates for 2022 released by the Ministry of Finance.

At the same time, spending is estimated at around 1.78 billion yen, up 4.5 percent from 2021.

The “Budget Report for Citizens-State Budget Estimates for 2022” provides the public with essential information on macroeconomic indices in 2022.

As a result, central budget revenue is estimated at 52.36 percent of total budget collection, equivalent to VN 739.13 billion, while 47.64 percent, or VN 627.57 billion, will be collected for the local budget.

In particular, according to the report, in 2022, two other localities should contribute to the central budget, bringing the number of these localities to 18.

Other macroeconomic indices for 2022 include GDP growth of 6 to 6.5 percent, an average increase in the consumer price index of about 4 percent, a total expansion of export earnings from about 5.4 percent and a total investment in social development representing about 32 to 34 percent of GDP. – VNS
