Pakistan celebrates Eid Miladun Nabi with fervor

Eid Mildun Nabi which commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is celebrated across Pakistan with devotion, respect and religious fervor.

At the start of the day, the Pakistani army honored the holy prophet with a salute of 31 cannon shots in Islamabad and 21 cannon shots in the provincial capitals of Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.

As part of the celebration of Eid Miladun Nabi, processions and gatherings were organized in small and large cities of the country where love for the Prophet (PBUH) is expressed.

Religious scholars will also discuss the gatherings in different cities in which the life of the Prophet (pbuh) would be told.

As part of the celebrations, a number of people decorated their homes with beautiful lamps while the Parliament, Prime Minister’s House, Presidency and other government and non-government buildings were also adorned with lights.

In addition, beautiful models of Kaaba and Masjid-e-Nabwi were placed on the streets of different cities, which became the center of public attention.

In order to thwart any untoward incident, the government has implemented strict security measures. Special police contingents have been deployed for the security of processions and gatherings. More than 4,500 police officers have been deployed to secure the main motorcade in Karachi.

In a message on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi, Prime Minister Imran Khan said: “Congratulations to all humans in the world, especially Muslims on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi” APP reported.

Imran said that the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to the world brought about a revolution in all aspects of human society. He said that the Prophet (pbuh) challenged the system of oppression in the world, opening the doors of well-being to mankind.

He said, “Rabiul Awal is a month when the creator of the universe sent Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as a guide for the success of mankind in this world and beyond.

Belief in the oneness of Allah, closeness to Allah with his worship, kindness, tolerance, truth, honesty, good character, love for humans and human rights have created a society Islamic unprecedented, he observed.

The prime minister said that it was the effect of the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that the Arab tribes which have been victims of internal chaos for centuries have emerged as a nation.

Women’s rights were protected, slaves were respected in society, and orphans and needy people were protected, he explained.

He said that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) laid the groundwork for Riyasat-e-Madina which stood before the world as an example to others in terms of humanity, justice and the rule of law.

In this state system, minorities were protected, the poor and needy were taken care of, and the rights and obligations of the state and citizens were determined, the prime minister added.

He said the government created the Rahmat tulil Aalameen Authority to inform the people and the world about the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

The authority will study the individual and collective aspects of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and familiarize the world with the Islamic revolution, he said, adding that the authority will provide guidance to young people allowing them to learn about the life of the Prophet Muhammad. “The authority will make the world aware of the respect Muslims have for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and take action to end Islamophobia.”

“On this auspicious day, I especially want to appeal to parents who, during the education and character-building of their children, speak to them about different aspects of the moral values ​​adopted by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).”

“We are determined to make Pakistan together an Islamic welfare state modeled on Riyasat-e-Madina and will continue to make efforts to live our lives in light of the golden principles of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh),” said declared the Prime Minister. added.
