New Delhi, October 30 (UNI) Home Secretary Amit Shah on Saturday sounded the ballot for the Uttarakhand Assembly elections next year and said voters must ensure that the BJP comes to power in the state with a full majority to keep the wave of development going.

“Uttarakhand has seen comprehensive development over the past four years and the BJP has engaged in the development of the hilly state under the leadership of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami,” Shah said during a speech in Dehradun. .

Attacking Congress’ “appeasement policy”, he said “they cannot develop Devbhoomi”.

“Congress is a party of promise breakers. They are only in politics to seize power, they do not focus on the welfare state, ”said the head of the BJP.

Tearing down heavily on the state’s great rival, Shah said: “Members of Congress were nowhere to be found during Covid-19 or the floods that ravaged the state. But with the approach of the elections, they started to emerge and to make the press. conferences.

“The Congress Party remains synonymous with corruption and scams, but good administration and the welfare of the poor can only happen under the leadership of Modiji,” he said.

“The co-operative movement was weakened under Congress, but by creating a separate Ministry of Co-operatives Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done an excellent job for the welfare of millions of farmers, women and associated laborers cooperatives, ”he said.

The Home Secretary also informed that Modi will inaugurate Lord Adi Shankaracharyaji’s idol in Kedarnath Dham on November 5.

“The reconstruction of Kedarnath is about to be completed today while the all-weather road for Char Dham Yatra will also be completed today,” he said.

He also promised tap water connections to every household before 2022.

“We are determined to provide tap water to every household, even in inaccessible areas of Uttarakhand. I assure that every household in Uttarakhand will have tap water before December 2022 ”, he declared.

Speaking about the Covid vaccination campaign in the state, he said Uttarakhand is one of the states to complete 100% first-dose vaccination to prevent coronavirus.

The Interior Minister also launched the Mukhyamantri Ghasiyari Kalyan Yojana under which farmers will receive animal fodder at the rate of 2 rupees per kg with a 30 percent subsidy.

Under this program, approximately 1,000 acres of land will be cultivated in Uttarakhand and 2,000 farmers will grow corn. “This kind of scientific method of forage cultivation will not only improve the health of the animals, but also increase the milking capacity of the animals,” he said.
