He also promised tap water connections to every household before 2022.

The Interior Minister also launched the Mukhyamantri Ghasiyari Kalyan Yojana under which farmers will receive animal fodder at the rate of 2 rupees per kg with a 30 percent subsidy.
Under this program, approximately 1,000 acres of land will be cultivated in Uttarakhand and 2,000 farmers will grow corn. âThis kind of scientific method of forage cultivation will not only improve the health of the animals, but also increase the milking capacity of the animals,â he said.
